R2 and R3 Readiness

We are getting ready, so you do not have to worry.

The Rivian R2 and R3 platforms are expected to use single-piece gigacast underbody construction. That changes how collision repair works. We are investing in equipment, training, and OEM procedures now so reservation holders have a real repair option from day one.

Answer

What is changing with R2 and R3 repair?

R2 and R3 are expected to use gigacast single-piece underbody construction. Crash damage that used to require multi-panel replacement can become a structural decision about whether to section or replace the casting. We are tooling and training for sectioning so owners have a repair path, not a forced total loss.
